# Lightspeed C-serie: hun nieuwe checkout

De nieuwe checkout van Lightspeed draait volledig binnen een cross-origin iframe.

De nieuwe checkout van Lightspeed draait volledig binnen een cross-origin iframe. Vanwege de browserbeveiligingsregels kan niets in dat iframe vanaf je website worden uitgelezen of gevolgd, waardoor server-side tagging de checkout niet kan meten.

In de praktijk betekent dit `begin_checkout`, `add_shipping_info` en `add_payment_info` helemaal niet gemeten kan worden, en `purchase` alleen server-side via Lightspeed-webhooks (zonder client-ID en sessie-ID, waardoor attributie minder nauwkeurig is). Aangepaste scripts en aanpassing van de dataLayer zijn ook niet mogelijk.

We hebben dit probleem bij Lightspeed aangekaart. Er is momenteel geen geplande oplossing die vergelijkbaar is met Shopify's Customer Events API, en aan onze kant is er geen workaround: de beperking komt van de browser, niet van onze implementatie.

### Wat we aanbevelen

Gebruik de reguliere checkout van Lightspeed. Deze ondersteunt de volledige AdPage DataLayer, alle e-commercegebeurtenissen en server-side tagging. Om terug te schakelen: log in op je Lightspeed eCom-backoffice en ga naar **Instellingen → Checkout**, schakel **Gebruik nieuwe checkout**, en sla op.

We houden dit in de gaten en werken het artikel bij als Lightspeed iets verandert.
